Dr. Harishchander Anandaram

Biography

Dr. Harishchander Anandaram, completed Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degree in Sathyabama Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His Bachelor’s and Master’s project involves understanding “Molecular and systemic Dynamics of HIV Protease, Reverse Transcriptase, and CCR5 inhibitors: An initiation towards rational drug design” in collaboration with YRG care and IIT Madras. Later on worked as a “Database Curator” in the “Ligfam” project: An initiation towards clustering analysis of ligand families in collaboration with Georgetown University, USA. In my research career, He worked as Research Associate in Autophagy Lab, Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneshwar, and Technical Assistant in an Indo-US TB Project in JIPMER, Puducherry Tamil Nadu, India. He started my career in teaching as Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics at Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and currently working as Assistant Professor in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He have received the “Young Scientist” award from Melinda Gates Foundation for my thesis on “Impact of Pharmacogenomics and miRNA Regulated Networks in Infectious and Autoimmune Disorders.” His research works got published in peer-reviewed International, and National Journals indexed by Elsevier Scopus. He is motivated to set research goals with an environmental impact and focus on interdisciplinary research inculcating curiosity to improvise my talent and hands-on technical skills. His Research work is challenging because it addresses health and environmental issues in understanding the molecular basis of autoimmune disorders concerning pathology from a systemic viewpoint.
