Dr. Héctor Migallón is an associate professor with the Computer Engineering Department at the Miguel Hernández University (Spain). He received the M.Sc. degree in Physics and the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Valencia. He is member of the “Architecture and Computer Technology†and the “High Performance Computing and Parallelism†research groups. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science in 2005. His main research interests include parallel algorithms for solving linear and nonlinear systems, image and video processing and heuristic optimization algorithms. Among others, he has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals with ISI Thomson JCR.
