Vidhula Ahire is a scientist in the field of molecular oncology. Her research has been focused on radiation and molecular biology in which she gained her Ph.D. from India. During her postdoc years, she gained expertise in the field of radiation oncology, tumor microenvironment, synthetic lethality, and hyperthermia. She also has worked in the new age cutting technology of 3D-bioprinting. To date, she has worked in 12 different labs, 5 different countries and has traveled extensively for various international conferences and workshops. She has been a recipient of UGC fellowship from Govt. of India and internationally the prestigious Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship. She has worked in world-class institutes like Deakin University, Australia, Academic Medical Center, The Netherlands, GANIL (University of Caen), France for her postdoctoral training. She received her training from reputed institutes like Bhabha Atomic Research Center and ACTREC etc. She has been honored with various posters, travel, and oral presentation awards and has several publications to her credit. Other than research her expertise lies in teaching with more than a decade of experience teaching (various reputed colleges in Mumbai including the University of Mumbai) Bachelors, Masters Students in the field of biotechnology, biophysics, cancer biology, etc. and has mentored several students for their research internship. She is also a member of various prestigious societies in cancer biology.
