Dr. Rémi Safi is currently working as a research fellow in the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon. She has a PhD. in biotechnology and medicinal chemistry from the Paul Sabatier University in France. For the teaching activity, she is enrolled as an instructor of many courses comprising general chemistry, atomistic, organic and inorganic chemistry in the faculty of engineering at the Saint-Joseph University. In addition, she advocates cancer research, prevention and education as a board member in a non-profit organization called Amalouna. For the scientific production, she has many publications in different journals such as Cancers, Acta Dermato-Venereologica, Current Drug Targets, Gastrointestinal Oncology, Experimental Dermatology, Dermatological Science, Molecules, Biomedicine Pharmacotherapy, Scientific Reports, Chemical Biology and Drug Design, Archives of Dermatological Research, European Journal of Dermatology and International Journal Dermatology. For the communication, she participated in international conferences such as the third inflammatory skin disease summit (Vienna, Austria), International Conference on Medicinal Chemistry (RICT), (Rouen, France).
Dr. Rémi Safi has a broad research interest including medicinal chemistry, drug design, cancer biology, biotechnology, oncology, stem cells and dermatology.
