Dr. Jesús Rafael Hechavarría Hernández is Mechanical Engineer graduated in 1995 at the Higher Technical Institute of Holguín, Master in Computer-aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD-CAM) of the University of Holguín in 2000 and Doctorate in Technical Sciences (PhD) of the University of Oriente, Cuba, in 2009. He has 23 years of experience as a university professor in: Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. He has participated in several R + D + i projects financed in competitive public calls (Germany, Spain, Venezuela and Ecuador). He has made several contracts with Latin American and European companies in the development of CAD applications in AutoCAD to support engineering. He is currently a full-time professor at the University of Guayaquil and a part-time professor at the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil where she teaches subjects related to Mathematics, Physics and installations.
Dr. Jesús Rafael Hechavarría Hernández is currently developing is related to the methodology of "Analysis and Synthesis of Engineering Systems" applied to the systemic analysis of bioclimatic design of low-income housing, optimization of multiobjective design of hydraulic installations and the development of new products with ecomaterials.
