Dr. Mohamed Amer was graduated in veterinary science at 1976 and started his career as a member of poultry disease teaching and research staff at 1978. He had his MVSc, 1980 and after visiting scholar to Institute of Poultry Diseases, School of Vet. Med., Fredric Epart University, Hannover, W-Germany, 1983 he has his PhD, 1984 and become lecture of poultry diseases at Cairo University. At June 1994 become Prof. of Poultry Diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University. He has given lectures in poultry diseases in Cairo and Bani-suif universities, Egypt. He supervised many poultry projects in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He was joined as member of the Scientific Committee of the functions of the associate professors and professors - the Supreme Council of Universities from 1999. Supervised and discussed many MVsc and PHD dissertations. 12 Arbitrator Projects of Science & Technology Development Fund (STDF) from 2000 till now. Emeritus Professor of Poultry diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine January 2013- till now Reviewer and Editor for indexed journals. He has published more than 110 research papers in local and indexed journals.
