Baharak Aktardanesh is a Professor in the Small animal internal medicine at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman where she has been a veterinary medicine faculty member since 2005. She was the head of the small animal internal medicine ward from 2006 -2014 and the Vice Director of the clinical science department from 2014–2018, She held the small animal internal medicine residentship program from 2021 to upgrade the ward. Baharak completed his Ph.D. at Tehran University and her undergraduate studies at the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. Her research interests lie in the area of Veterinary Infectious Diseases, Small animal internal medicine, Zoonosis, Vector-Borne Diseases, and Exotic animal and laboratory animal science. She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of public health in research committees and published about 70 international research articles in these research fields. Baharak has served on roughly 100 workshop program committees and holds many educational courses each year. She presented her research results at 400 international and national conferences and attended in the Scientific Committee at 30 congresses. She wrote three professional book about “common dog and cat diseaseâ€, and “Small animal comprehensive pharmacopoeia (Dog & Cat)†and “ear disease in small animals “which has been widely used by students and practitioners.
