Dr. Suresh Babu. K is the Professor at Department of Biochemistry, SMCW, Symbiosis International University, Pune. A clinical Biochemist by training, he has been involved in academics and research for the past approximate 11 years. He holds a Doctoral degree and a Master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry. An ardent researcher, he has more than 40 papers in indexed international peer reviewed journals with impressive citation index of 85, h-index of 7, and i10 index of 12. He is involved in numerous research grants projects and has supervised PhD, MSc and graduate research students (NIMS University Jaipur). He has also presented 2 papers in international scientific conferences. His areas of research interest include Diagnostic Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, Immune chemistry, Molecular level studies. Dr. Suresh Babu.K is the recipient of the Award, Best Teacher in Biochemistry in 2019 from ITAP Hyderabad for Excellence in academics, at National level in India. He is also award winner of Young Professor of the year award in the medical field for 2020 from GISR Foundation, New Delhi. Received Young Researcher award for the significant contribution in Diabetology for the year 2020 from VIHA foundation, Chennai, INDIA. A passionate Medical teacher with more than 5000 teaching hours spanning nearly a decade, he has won many awards in teaching and lecturing in his teaching career, including the student choice Best Lecturer award for consecutive years (2016 & 2017 Saraswati Medical College, Lucknow). He has been appointed as external Examiner to conduct viva to Ph.D. candidates (SRM University, Chennai, Carrier Point University, Kota, & Malwanchal University, Indore, INDIA).
