Prof. Dr. Syed Imran Ali Shah (MBBS, PLAB, M. Phil, DIC, Ph.D.) graduated as medical doctor from the top-ranking King Edward Medical University and then did M. Phil in Medical Biochemistry from University of Health Sciences. He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine Research from the prestigious Imperial College London. He also holds several local and international certifications. He has over 14 years of experience in medical teaching and research. He has been awarded many international honours for his accomplishments, including participation in Nobel Laureates Meeting (Germany), Research fellowship (Japan), Commonwealth scholarship (UK) and Royal reception by Queen Elizabeth to name a few. Dr. Shah has authored 60+ publications in renowned high impact factor journals on a wide range of clinical areas including prostate cancer, osteoporosis and tuberculosis. His main research focus is the study of the impact of sex hormone alterations on systemic functions. Additionally, he is also currently working on diabetes mellitus, sleep and psychosocial aspects of medical education. He has presented his research work at leading conferences in the USA and Europe.
