He was born in the Irkutsk region of Russia. From 1964 to 1974 he studied at school. Then he entered Irkutsk Medical University. After graduation, he moved to Moscow and worked in various clinics specializing in cardiology and rheumatology. He headed the departments, was the head of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences, deputy chief physician of the Hospital for Science. Defense of the degree of Doctor of Philosoph of Medical Sciences at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, 1995.Dissertation topic: "Changes in the rheological properties of blood in patients who underwent coronary artery stenting". Defense of the degree of Advanced Doctor of Medical Sciences at Institute of General Pathology and Pathophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 2003. Dissertation topic: "The course of coronary heart disease in patients undergoing coronary angioplasty". Since 2003, he began teaching at the RNIMU department. In 2010 received the title of associate professor in the department. Married, have a son.
