Dr. Ishtiaq Qadri completed his PhD from the Imperial College of Science and Technology London UK (1989) and carried out postdoctoral training from the University of California San Francisco, CA and University of Colorado-Denver, CO, US (1989-1994) . He served as faculty in the UC Denver, CO, USA. Currently, he is a Professor at the King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Qadri has published over 200 peer reviewed research articles and is the recipient of over 33 international R & D grants covering numerous areas of investigations which were funded from the National Institute of Health USA, American Liver Foundation, Colorado League of Cancer, US-State Dept, Bio-Safety Engagement Program of US, Pasteur Institute of France, KACST, WAQF and DSR, KAU, Jeddah KSA.
Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq Qadri research is focused on the broad areas of Dengue viruses, viral hepatitis and associated hepatocarcinoma. He has also been enthusiastically involved in the study of cellular adaptive responses
