Professor Halyna P. Kopylchuk – Doctor of Biological Sciences. She is the author of about 300 scientific works, published both in Ukraine and abroad. Education: graduate of the Department of Biochemistry, Biological Faculty, Chernivtsi State University, Chernivtsi, Ukraine (Speciality «Biology»). PhD degree: defended the PhD-thesis «The nuclear proteins of the heterosis hybrid of the maize» (specialty Biochemistry). Worked as an assistant lecturer of the Department of Biochemistry, Chernivtsi State University; Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry & dean deputy at the Biological Faculty at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Dr. of Biological Sciences: defended the thesis «Biochemical features of low doses radiation-induced tumour growth and its inhibition by coumarin derivatives of uracil» (speciality Biochemistry). Since 2013 Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She is the member of Ukrainian Biochemical Society (Constituent of The Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS)), the member of Editorial boards of the journal «Biological system», Ukraine.
