She has a degree in Stomatology from the Andina University of Cusco-Perú (2002). Postgraduate in Dentistry and Dental Materials (2009) from the School of Dentistry of the Federal University of Uberlandia-Brazil. She has experience in the area of Dentistry, with an emphasis on Dental Operative and Dental Materials. With a master's degree (2011) and a doctorate (2016) completed in Integrated Dental Clinic by the Postgraduate program of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Federal University of Uberlandia- Brazil, in the Biomechanical research line applied to Dentistry. Research internship (2011) at the College's Biomaterials and Biomechanics Research Laboratory at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, UTHS, United States. Exchange period during the doctorate (2013-2014) carried out at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven - KUL-Belgium. She has published several papers in national and international journals of the Dentistry area as well as collaboration in two book chapters. She acts as a member of the editorial board of national and international journals. She is a Researcher Professor at School of Dentistry, Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico since June 2017. She is a member of Mexico's National System of Researchers, SNI.
