He is a physical therapist, a specialist in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, with a master's degree and doctorate in education, with experience in care processes of cardiopulmonary, physical, and neurorehabilitation rehabilitation in an emergency, intensive care, intermediate care, hospitalization, and outpatient services, since 2003; Administrative experience as coordinator of the rehabilitation service of the Hospital Cardiovascular del Niño de Cundinamarca from 2004 to 2014, where he was manager of the cardiac rehabilitation service and outpatient physical therapy, as well as the development of stress tests and spirometry; in this institution, he managed to occupy the position of research coordinator of the rehabilitation service. Teaching and research experience from 2005 until today, serving as a teacher in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the area of physical therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and physical therapy in critically ill patients, in the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Bogota) and the Universidad Manuela Beltran (Bogota). Currently, he is part of the department of innovation and technological development of the Cardiovascular Foundation of Colombia, in addition to teaching at the Faculty of Health of the University of Santander.
