Prof. Aleksey Burkov

Biography

Dr. Aleksey Burkov is Professor of the Department of energy systems of the Polytechnic institute of the Far Eastern Federal University, Professor of the Department of electrical equipment and automation of ships of the Maritime State University named after Admiral G. I. Nevelsky, Doctor of transport, Corresponding member of the Academy of electrotechnical sciences of the Russian Federation, Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of natural sciences, Full member of the Russian Academy of transport, Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Full member of the Russian Geographical Society, Member of the League of Higher School Teachers. He graduated from the doctoral program in the specialty "Electrotechnical complexes and systems" in St. Petersburg and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, the academic title of professor. Dr. Burkov is a Member of the editorial board of the "American Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering" (AJECE), Member of the editorial board of "Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Bio-Byword Scientific Publishing Pty Ltd". He is a reviewer of the scientific journal "Marine Intelligent Technologies" (in Russian). Dr. Burkov teaches and conducts analytical and experimental research in the field of the history of electrical engineering, reliability of electrical equipment and electric drives. His academic and teaching experience is 38 years. Dr. Burkov is the author of four textbooks for higher educational institutions and one textbook for secondary educational institutions, the author and co-author of 21 monographs and 11 patents
