Mohammad Taghi Taghavifard is a Professor and faculty member of Allameh Tabataba’i University (Tehran-Iran). He received his MS in Management Science from University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN-USA) in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University (Wichita, KS-USA) in 1993. He has published numerous scientific articles in the fields of Industrial Engineering (IE) and Information Technology (IT) in several national and international refereed journals and in many conference proceedings. He is also the author of 14 books in the fields of IE and IT. His research interests include: Applications of IT in Management, Knowledge Management, Operations Research, Business Process Management, and Business Intelligence. Also, he has carried out numerous projects in the field of Knowledge Management and Business Process Management and served as a consultant to many private organizations
