Prasad, Kamlesh; is a Food Technologist, post graduated from Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, India and doctorate from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India. His specialization is in Fruits and vegetable processing. His research interest includes nondestructive testing, image analysis, nano technology, engineering properties of foods and various related aspects of food processing. Presently he is Professor and Head of department of Food Engineering & Technology, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal. He has published more than 100 research papers in national, international journals and conference proceedings of repute. He is also the reviewer of many International and National Journals and edited the books and proceedings. He is associated with many reputed professional societies such as ASABE, MSI, ISNT, AFST(I), NSI, PAS, USI, ICC and DTS(I). Got recognition for Top 100 Educators 2010 by Indian Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, got invitation for Asia/Pacific Who’s Who for biographical directory and selected as 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century – 2010 by Indian Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He is also engaged in the process of social reform and providing justice to deprived segment of society.
