Bauhinia tomentosa is one of the best and most common ornamental, medicinal plant present in all over India. The present study aims to investigate the phamacognostic analysis viz. orgnoleptic, fluorescence analysis and phytochemical screening using different extracts of leaves. Based on the results, organoleptic and flourecence analysis shows some marked difference among all treatment. In phytochemical screening was found that the methanolic leaf extracts possessed strong phytochemical activity. The study contributes to the development of standardization parameters of herbal drugs used in our system of medicine
