Surgery is the most effective and widely used in the curative treatment of gastric cancer. Anastomotic leaks after gastrectomy are a serious cause of morbidity and mortality. Anastomotic leakage is not a rare complication. It has been reported that it can be seen at a rate of 7.5% after upper gastrointestinal system surgery [1]. It has been reported that anastomotic leakage is the most common cause of mortality in the perioperative period [1]. The use of surgical methods in the treatment of anastomotic leakage is gradually decreasing. Endoscopic clip, fibrin glue, stent, and endoscopic vacuum-assisted closure are non-operative methods.
