Abdulla Aaid Hadi was born in Al-Qadisiyah, the center-south of Iraq on the 30th August 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Al-Qadisiyah. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Veterinary medicine, University of Basra, Basra Governorate, Iraq. He graduated with a First Class Honors in July 2004. In January 2005, he joined the veterinary hospital in Al-Qadisiyah as a veterinarian. Abdulla started his MSc program in the Faculty of Veterinary medicine, the University of Baghdad in August 2008 focusing his research interests in the areas of Anatomy and Histology. After completing his MSc program, he was employed as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Anatomy and Histology and is an academic staff of the University of Kufa, Faculty of Veterinary medicine to date. Having been awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, he started his PhD program in February 2015 at the Department of Theriogenology and Cytogenetic, Faculty of Veterinary medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia to continue with further research on improved reproductive performance through edible bird’s nest and its ameliorating properties in lead acetate toxicity of reproductive system in female rats. He got a PhD from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University Putra Malaysia UPM, 2018
Dr. Abdulla Aaid Hadi AL-Bishtue's General research areas are histology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and biology of reproduction. Special areas are: Antioxidants, hepato-renal research, endocrinology (hypothalamic–pituitary–ovarian axis), fertility, reproduction research, toxicity (heavy metals), proteomics and histology of skin
