Prof. Victus Bobonkey Samlafo, got his Ph.D in Nuclear and Radiochemistry from University of Ghana, Legon in 2011. During the period, he published a lot of articles and attended several International conferences in different countries such as Las Vegas, USA, in 2017, New York, USA, in 2018, Rome, Italy, in 2018 and Vancouver, Canada in 2019 at which various papers were presented. He is currently a reviewer for six international journals. Prof. Samlafo has published 29 articles, study materials and books. He was promoted to Associate Professor since 2018. He obtained his Bachelor degree, concurrently with Diploma in Education from University of Cape Coast in 1996. He later obtained the M.Phil degree in Analytical Chemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in 2002. Prof. Samlafo is currently an External Examiner for Graduate Schools in University of Ghana, Legon and University of Cape Coast, Ghana respectively. He supervised several M.Phil and M.Sc theses in the Faculty of Science Education, University of Education, Winneba. He is a member of several professional bodies. Prof. Samlafo has been teaching in University of Education, Winneba since 2004. He teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Prof. Samlafo is currently working on heavy metal levels in wetland areas of Ghana and methanol levels in locally produced alcoholic beverages
