Dr. Prof. Florjana Rustemi, is working on her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences focused in Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy and as PhD researcher between University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” and University of Medicine Tirana; Faculty of Pharmacy, (December 2012 – present). During this period, she managed to publish a lot of publications and attend different National and International conferences in pharmacoeconomy of drugs, drug therapy and quality in hospital pharmacy, in different countries like Ireland, South Korea, etc. She is passionate in Education and Research in Pharmaceutical sciences and is privileged to have the opportunity to educate others. She has over ten-year experience as a lecturer in University, Department of Pharmacy and is a pharmacist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital, health-care system & pharmaceutical industry. Skilled in Pharmaceutics, Individualized chemotherapy treatment, Cost-effective medicine, Forecasting and budgeting of medicines and medical devices, Procurement of medicines and medical devices, Quality in Health-care system, Research and Development of new medicines, Clinical study of new medicines, Pharmacology, Generic Programming, Medical Devices, and GxP. She has obtained her Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Science from University of Tirana, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pharmacy on 3/7/2009. She also got her Master degree in Hospital and Community Pharmacy from the University of Camerino, Italy on 18/3/2012. She has publications in peer reviewed journals with high impact factor as well as she attends a lot of international conferences all over the world.
Dr. Florjana Rustemi research interests include individualized cancer chemotherapy, cost-effectiveness of medicines, quality of medicines and medical devices in health-care system, etc, with focus in low and middle income countries. I am also interested in Research and Pharmaceutical development of new medicines and Clinical, Hospital, and Managed Care Pharmacy.
