Dr. Tapashi Ghosh Roy has got her PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India (October 1983- February 1987) supported by Indian Govt Scholarship. During that time She published a number of publications. Further, she has got a number of postdoctoral research grants funded by i) Monbusho and UNESCO, Japan in 1990 -1991, ii) Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of USC, USA in 1995, iii) German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Germany in 2001, iv) NSICT (Ministry of National Science, Information & Communication Technology, Bangladesh) , v) Korea Science and Engineering Fellowship (KOSEF) in 2004-2005. vi) TWAS-UNESCO, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2009 & 2011. She also managed around 20 Research grants on 20 Scientific Projects and worked as Project Director/ Chief Investigator in them. Dr. Tapashi upgraded to Professor since April, 2005 to date. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Chemistry (Hons.) from University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1980. She also got her Master degree in Inorganic Chemistry (Thesis Group) from the same University in 1982. She has over 70 publications in peer reviewed journals with good impact factor as well as she is attending in a lot of National and International conferences. Furthermore, she obtained a few awards e.g., BAAS Awards achieved twice for best research presentation in the 15th and 17th annual science conferences arranged by Bangladesh Association for the Advancement of Sciences in 1990 and 1992 respectively. She has been awarded International Einstein Award for Scientific achievements in 2009
