Dr. Mehrdad Shadmehr received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. His Ph.D. project was mainly about the design and synthesis of fluorogenic triazabutadiene probes for labeling of electron-rich aromatic systems. M.S from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he worked on Synthesis of bioactive fluorinated heterocyclic small molecules. B.S from Tehran University. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln working on design and synthesis of photoactivatable fluorogenic fluorophores as a drug delivery system
Dr. Mehrdad Shadmehr research interest includes design, synthesis, purification (including different types of chromatography), and characterization (including different types of instrumental analysis) of small molecules and fluorescent probes for chemical biology, drug delivery, and medicinal chemistry proposes
