Prof. Nehad M. Hamoudi had her Ph.D in pharmaceutical chemistry from Bradford University /UK on 1990, and BSc degree in Pharmacy / Baghdad University. She had her extensive and in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences acquired through education and more than 20 years’ experience as a professor in Pharmacy College with the strength in research work, clinical research, analyzing data and providing recommendations. She started her career as Assistant Prof. in the department of Clinical Laboratory Analysis and Biochemistry, Pharmacy College / Baghdad University 1990-1997. Then she became Associate Prof. in the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry 1997-2001. She served as Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Pharmacy College / University of Sharjah /UAE, 2005-2007 and Pharmacy College/ RAK Medical and Health Sciences University / RAK / UAE, 2008 -2009. Later she served as faculty member and professor of Medicinal Chemistry at Pharmacy College / Gulf Medical University/ Ajman / UAE, Sep. 2009 – Sep. 2014. She have Published over 30 papers of clinical research in international and national journals. Attended and participated in more than 25 conferences in different areas such as pharmacy practice, disease management and medical education. She supervised postgraduate students for the M.Sc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology. From the technical point of view, she demonstrated great experience in a number of techniques, spanning areas related to medicinal chemistry, pharmacology as well as biochemistry. From the intellectual point of view, she has demonstrated an excellent understanding of the needs of the community pharmacists and developed ways (via articles or posters in community pharmacy magazine) to get them interested in different clinical topics of importance to the community. Her research projects are always well planned and based on full understanding the literature and the limitation of the methodology she was using. It is her great ability to interpret and analyze the data, and recognize the relevance of her result that stamp her as a researcher of ability.

Dr.Nehad research interest includes medicinal chemistry, pharmacology as well as biochemistry and field research.
