Dr. Binu Shrestha is Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Trinity Medical Sciences University, School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Trinity, she was working in as Assistant Professor at Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences, Kathmandu, Nepal. Binu received her Medical degree (MBBS) from the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Nepal in 2007. She completed her three years of Residency in Basic and Clinical Physiology from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal. She also had received Advanced Neuroscience Training at Monash University under IBROin 2014. Her responsibilities at Trinity includes teaching Neuroscience to MD students, Cell and molecular biology to premedical students, service to University through different committees, academic advising etc. Apart from teaching, she is actively involved in research projects.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Binu Shrestha research inerest is basically in Neuroscience ( Neurophysiology, electrophysiology,) Medical Education etc. She is currently working on the research project “Prevalence of Diabetic Neuropathy among the populations of St. Vincent and the Grenadines†and "Prevalence and Impact of premenstrual dysphoric disoders on Medical Students".
