Dr. Dina H. El-Ghonemy currently works as an Associate professor at the Department of Microbiological Chemistry, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Division, National Research Centre, Egypt. She got her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Ain Shams Univeristy. Dr. Dina does research in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Physiology. She has worked in different projects titled "Production of therapeutic yeast and cellulases from microorganisms``, ``Improving Biodegradation of Rice Straw to Produce Industrial Enzymes via Biotechnology Techniques``, ``Feed and manure production from the olive by-product in Sinai desert`` and a copy investigator of a project titled "Production of L-asparaginase, an anticancer agent, from locally isolated filamentous fungi using agricultural wastes via solid state fermentation". She is currently working as a copy investigator of a project titled "Enhancement of Lipid Production from Isolated Fungal Strains by Mutagenesis and Optimization of Cultural Conditions using Corn Stover for Biodiesel Production" and as a principle investigator of a project titled ``Improvement of anti-tumor agents from filamentous fungi under solid state fermentation.
Dr. Dina H. El-Ghonemy's research interests include Production and optimization of microbial enzymes, separation and purification of enzymes, characterization of the purified enzymes, enzymes stabilization through immobilization on different supports and estimation of anti-microbial activity of different antimicrobial agents.
