Dr. Mohsen Safaei is currently working in the department of nanobiotechnology, affiliated to Razi University, (Kermanshah, Iran). He received his Ph.D in nanobiotechnology in 2017 from the Razi University, where his research focused on antimicrobial and anticancer properties of nanobiocomposites. He has over 10 years of research and teaching experience in the area of nanobiotechnology, nanotechnology, microbiology and research methodology. Dr. Safaei has more than 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, in the areas of nanobiotechnology and biology. He is serving as a reviewer for some reputed journals such as Biological trace element research, Toxicological and environmental chemistry, Journal of applied animal research and etc.
Dr. Mohsen Safaei research interests include characterization and application of bionanocomposite, advanced nanofabrication and characterization of nanobiomaterials, bioremoval of metal using nanostructures, mechanism of the antimicrobial activity of nanostructures.
