Dr. Sulbha Choudhari is currently working as a Bioinformatician in Bioinformatics Core at Purdue University, USA. She completed her doctoral degree in Computational and Integrative Biology from Center for Computational and Integrative Biology, Rutgers University, USA in 2015. Her doctoral research was focused on studying sequence biases in comparative metagenomics while investigating glacial metagenome. In addition to her computational background she has a profound knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology due to her prior work in these fields. She is involved in the next-generation sequencing data analysis of model and non-model organisms. She has experience in data analysis from various bioinformatics application like RNASeq, genome and transcriptome assembly, metagenomics, SSR, SNP and CNV detection.
