Prof. José Angel Morales León, Director of the Center for Applied Chemistry Studies, University of Granma, 2015 - until now; Professor of Organic Chemistry and Structural Characterization of Organic Compounds; member of the faculty of formation of master's degrees in Biological Chemistry and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources; researcher in Organic Chemistry. In 2012-2015 he was a professor of Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry at Jose Eduardo dos Santos University. He worked as Professor of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Granma, 2009-2012. Professor of Biochemistry and Organic Physics Chemistry of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Medical Sciences of Granma, 2006-2009; Head of the Department of Biochemistry from 2001 to 2006; Coordinator of the Group of Young Scientists of the university. He began his career as Professor of Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University "Blas Roca", 1996-2001. He obtained his academic and scientific degrees in the field of Biological Chemistry in 2008-2011 at the University of Granma. Bachelor in Chemistry from the University "Blas Roca", 1996; He has contributed in 6 research projects, attended more than 30 international and national conferences, and supervised 10 master's theses. He has 20 publications and has contributed in 2 books. He has obtained 3 Prizes from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and 1 Prize from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba for his results in scientific research
