Professor Hassan worked in diversity of clinical and academic paediatric and neonatal settings in the UK and abroad since 1986. He seen more than 100,000 children and conducted and coordinated several international researches and audits. He was examiner and lecturer in many of the UK universities teaching towards diplomas and other membership degrees and medical certificates. He worked as a research fellow in paediatric medicine in Glasgow University conducted a genuine researches work by using the anabolic steroid the androstenedione as an oral steroid for the first time in paediatric medicine with the human Growth Hormone in children. He worked in clinical paediatrics and neonatology in several University and Teaching hospitals in the UK and the overseas such as in Germany, Gibraltar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and USA training. In addition to coordinator for many national and international researches he supervised many research fellows and students in their research works and writing of their thesis. Dr Hassan has many publications in peer reviewed medical journals, international conferences and acted as reviewer and editorial for many journals. He authored a book published in London in Arabic about medicine and faith. He is member of many international paediatric societies and local committees such as the Asian Society of paediatric infectious diseases. He conducted many audits and supervised junior colleagues in their audits. He involved in teaching of medical students from different UK universities and now in the Mediclinic City Hospital teaching students from Mohammad Bin Rashid University for Medicine and Health Silences, the Medical College and the residents towards their paediatric Board certifications, MB BS and MRCPCH. Dr Hassan philosophy is that we all should work together with the parents, schools and others towards better health, educations and future for all children around the world.

Previous researches, case reports publications and research coordination are the use of anabolic steroid androstenedione as an oral hormone with GH, Very low birth weight babies mortality and morbidity (UK) study, Epicure 1 and 2 (UK and Ireland study), Atypical Kawasaki disease, Renal TB, Macrolide resistance Mycoplasma, persistent bacterial bronchitis wrongly diagnosed as asthma, electronic communication with parents, unusual case of coloboma of the iris and criss cross heart, post streptococcal syndrome and Vitamin D deficiency, bruises around the umbilicus in infants, recurrent facial erythema, scalp allodynia precipitating epilepsy after topiramate use, Shingle and varicella zoster encephalitis, Zinc deficiency in preterm babies, Foetus in feto with omphelocele, recurrent rash post Kawasaki disease, and over 70 articles about childhood diseases and health published in London based magazine in Arabic for parents and professionals. In addition over two hundreds lectures, panellist, questions writing for exams, conferences, audits and others over the years. Many research papers reviewed for different peer reviewed medical journals resulted in publication of almost all.
