Dr. Llobat obtained a degree in biology at the University of Valencia (2003) to subsequently obtain the "Master of Science in Animal Breeding and Reproduction Biotechnology" by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2009), where he completed his PhD obtaining the qualification of outstanding Cum Laude in his doctoral thesis (2012). Subsequently, he completed two years of postdoctoral stay at the Center for Biological Research (CSIC). He has published several scientific articles and has participated through a large number of communications in national and international conferences. He held the position of Head of the Scientific Area of the Sanitary Research Institute La Fe. Since 2016, she has collaborated with the European Union as an expert evaluator of research projects within the H2020 program. Currently, she is a professor of genetics at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UCH-CEU and is part of the research group on Pathophysiology of Reproduction. She is associated as Editor and Member of many online journals
Prof Lola Llobat research interests are Veterinary Health, Genetics (quantitative, population and molecular) applied to the pathology (microbiological, mainly) and Reproduction in all species
